Accessibility
Effective Date: September 4, 2026
Last Updated: September 4, 2026
Mint Ops wants every person who visits this website to be able to find what they came for and to get in touch with us on their own terms.
This statement sets out the standard we work to, what we have done, where we know we fall short, and how to reach us if something on this site gets in your way.
1. Our Commitment
Mint Ops is committed to making our website and our services usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions, or other assistive technology.
Accessibility is not a project with an end date. As we add pages and features, we test them, and when we fall short we fix it.
2. The Standard We Work To
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the standard referenced by accessibility legislation across Canada, including Manitoba's Accessible Information and Communication Standard under The Accessibility for Manitobans Act.
We describe this as our target rather than as a certification. We have not undergone third-party conformance auditing.
3. What We Have Done
Our website is built so that every page has a single, meaningful heading structure and a logical reading order. Interactive elements are reachable by keyboard. Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Colour is not used as the only way to convey information, and text is sized in relative units so it responds to browser and device zoom settings.
Our live chat and our analytics tools load only if you turn them on in the cookie banner. You can change that choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
4. Known Limitations
We would rather name these than imply they do not exist.
Third-party embedded content. Our contact and inquiry forms are provided by GreenRope, our free SEO audit runs on SE Ranking, and our live chat is provided by Tawk.to. These run inside our pages but are built and controlled by those companies, and we cannot correct their markup directly. If one of them is a barrier for you, contact us and we will take your request through another route and raise it with the provider.
Older blog content. Some articles were migrated from our previous website and may not yet meet the same standard as newly written pages, particularly around image descriptions. We are working through them.
Motion. Some pages use animation as you scroll. If your device or browser is set to reduce motion, we respect that setting.
5. Alternate Formats and Communication Supports
If you need any information from this website in another format, ask us and we will provide it at no additional cost. That includes large print, plain text, an accessible electronic document, or reading the information to you over the phone.
Tell us what you need and the format that works for you. We will confirm receipt and agree a timeline with you rather than guessing what is reasonable on your behalf.
6. Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this website, or in any of our services, we want to hear about it. Feedback can be given by email, by phone, or by mail using the contact details below, and you may give it anonymously if you prefer.
It helps if you can tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way, but do not let missing details stop you from getting in touch.
We acknowledge feedback within five business days and will tell you what we intend to do about it.
