Mint Ops

Dental marketing for Canadian clinics, from a company that has been in dental since 1978.

Most dental marketing agencies don’t know what happens after a patient walks through the door. We do.

Mint Ops Marketing is the marketing division of Mint Ops, a Winnipeg dental business services company. It runs websites, SEO, social media, Google and Meta ads, print, billboards, radio and press releases for dental, hygiene and denture clinics across Canada, month to month, with services from $150 a month.

Marketing a dental clinic is different from marketing a restaurant or a retailer. The choice takes longer, the decisions are more personal, and the difference between a clinic that’s growing and one that’s stalling usually comes down to how well the business behind the marketing is running, more than to its ad spend.

We’ve been inside dental practices since the days when a Yellow Pages listing and a sign above the door were a perfectly adequate marketing strategy. The industry has changed somewhat since then. So has what it takes to grow a practice.

Let’s Talk →

We’re a dental company that does marketing. Our only clients are dental, hygiene and denture clinics.

A general marketing agency working with a dental clinic learns the industry from the outside. They study it, research it, maybe hire someone with a dental background to review their work.

What they don’t have is the accumulated experience of having sat inside dental practices, spoken with owners, managed the software, understood the economics, and watched what drives a clinic’s growth and what quietly drains it.

We do. Our marketing team works only with dental practices, inside a company that has been in dental since 1978. When we look at a clinic’s visibility problem, we ask more than how to get more people through the door. We ask whether the clinic has a demand problem (not enough patients) or a supply problem (the patients and the potential are there, but something in the operations, the scheduling or the patient experience is keeping it from being realized).

A general agency will run the ads regardless. We’ll tell you whether running ads is the right move.

Strategy first. Always.

Every engagement starts the same way, with a strategy meeting. Packages and proposals come after it.

Before we recommend anything, we need to understand your clinic. Where your patients come from and why. What’s worked in the past, what hasn’t, and why. Only after that conversation do we tell you what we’d recommend and what we wouldn’t.

01

Strategy Meeting

We learn your clinic. Your goals, your market, your history, and your situation. This is the conversation that determines everything that follows.

02

Demographic Review

We look at who your patients are, who your potential patients are, and whether there's a gap between the two worth addressing.

03

Competitive Analysis

We assess how your clinic is positioned relative to others in your area: what they're doing, what they're not doing, and where the opportunity sits.

04

Tailored Recommendations

We tell you exactly what we'd recommend, why, and what it would cost. If the answer is less than you expected, we'll say so.

We work with dental clinics at every stage.

Our clients are dental clinics, independent hygienist practices, and denture clinics. What they have in common is that they’re running a business in a competitive market and they need their marketing to work.

Starting Out

You're building a patient base from scratch. Every decision feels high-stakes because the margin for error is smaller. You need visibility quickly, and it has to bring in patients who fit your practice. We help you establish a presence that attracts the right people from the start, so you don't spend the first few years correcting a positioning mistake.

Established and Ready to Grow

Your clinic is running well. You have a loyal patient base, a good team, and a sense that there's more growth available than you're currently capturing. The questions are where the real opportunity is and how to reach it without disrupting what's already working.

New Ownership

You've acquired a practice and inherited its reputation, its patient base, and its marketing, for better or worse. The priority is continuity where it matters and change where it doesn't. We help new owners establish their own voice without alienating the patients who were already there.

Expanding

You're opening a second location, adding a hygienist practice, or extending into new services. Growth at this stage introduces complexity that a single-clinic marketing approach wasn't designed to handle.

What do you want to be known for in your area?

We mean more than the services you offer or your hours. The answer guides your marketing budget, your hiring, your patient experience and the way your clinic operates day to day. We start there.

What we do.

Every service is produced in-house. Billboard placement and press-release distribution run through established partners. When you work with Mint Ops Marketing, you work with our team from start to finish.

Our free SEO audit runs on SE Ranking. It asks for your website, a keyword, your name and email, and emails you the report.

You can run it on your own clinic.

You can run it on your competition.

Most of our clients do both.

The website address, keyword, name and email you enter are processed by SE Ranking outside Canada. SE Ranking passes your name and email to us so we can follow up about the results. You can opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy.

Work we’ve done.

Every clinic we’ve worked with had a different starting point, a different market, and a different definition of success. Each project started with a clear goal. Ask us what it produced for that clinic.

Everything you need to know.

No. Everything is month to month with thirty days' notice. If the work isn't producing, a contract shouldn't be the reason you're still paying for it.

No. We require you to hold your own domain from day one. It's your business asset, and no vendor should be sitting on it. The site is custom code, and we can hand it over. Hosting ends after the thirty-day notice period.

Because we keep working on the site after it launches. The monthly fee covers design, hosting, SSL, content updates, revisions, and maintenance for as long as you're with us. A $3,000 to $10,000 build is a one-time invoice and then a change-request form.

No. Anyone who guarantees a ranking is either controlling the search engine or counting on you not checking. What we will do is tell you whether we think a service is worth buying, including when the answer is that your clinic doesn't have a marketing problem at all.

One is fine. SEO, ads, social, and the website are priced separately and run separately. Most clinics start with the thing that's most obviously broken and add from there. We'd rather you buy the one service you need than a bundle you don't.

Almost none. Design, SEO, ads, social, print, and video are in-house. No third-party agencies working under our name, and no offshore contractors you were never told about. The exceptions are media placement for billboards and press release distribution, which run through established channels.

A client portal shows keyword rankings, traffic trends, your social calendar, and live ad data including spend, impressions, and outcomes. On top of that, Ben Pourani runs regular review meetings on SEO and ads. You should never have to ask what happened last month.

No. Our free SEO audit runs on SE Ranking. It asks for your website, a keyword, your name and email, and emails you the report. SE Ranking passes your name and email to us so we can follow up about the results, and you can opt out at any time. If you read the report and never speak to us again, the audit still did its job.

Yes. Marketing is available on its own. You don't need to be running our software, recruitment, or remote administration to work with us. Clinics that do run more than one tend to get sharper recommendations, because we can see more of what's happening.

It all starts with a conversation.

Every clinic we’ve worked with started the same way: a conversation about where they are, where they want to be, and whether the gap between the two is a marketing problem or something else entirely.

Sometimes it is a marketing problem. Sometimes it isn’t, and we’ll tell you that too. Tell us about your clinic. We’ll tell you what we’d recommend and what it would cost.
