Cybersecurity for Canadian dental practices
Full protection for a clinic normally takes five or six programs or vendors: email security, endpoint protection, cloud app monitoring, staff training, data compliance. Almost no clinic runs them all. Most run one or two. The rest isn't handled, and every unhandled piece is a compliance gap someone else will eventually find.
Every clinic has this cybersecurity gap. Now the ecosystem closes it.
Mint Ops is now an official reseller of the Coro cybersecurity platform: one platform that does the work of all of them, resolves the routine automatically, and sends the short list that needs judgment to the person accountable: the owner or privacy officer.
The problem
The problem is a missing owner.
A dental clinic holds health records, banking details, and personal information for thousands of patients. And in most clinics, nobody owns the job of protecting it. It shows up in three familiar scenes.
Scene 1: the quiet room
Ask who's in charge of marketing at your clinic, and someone raises a hand. Ask who runs payroll, and someone owns that too. Ask who's in charge of security, and the room goes quiet.
Scene 2: the lab email
An email arrives that looks exactly like it came from your lab: same logo, same signature, a link to review the updated case. It lands in front of the person who opens everything, because opening everything is their job. Nobody ever trained them to spot the difference, because that was nobody's job.
Scene 3: the practice down the road
A practice down the road closed for a week last year. The sign said system upgrades. It was ransomware. A week of production was gone, and they never told anyone why, because there's no good way to tell your patients that story.
Three different scenes, one diagnosis. The market is full of security products. Full coverage takes five or six of them, from five or six vendors, each assuming there's an IT person on staff to run it. There isn't. So most clinics run one or two, the rest goes unhandled, and every unhandled piece is a live compliance gap. This is a supply problem. The demand for protection already exists: regulators demand it, insurers increasingly demand it, patients assume it. What's missing is anything in the clinic's operations built to deliver it.
The platform
One platform. One dashboard. You see only what needs a decision.
Coro is a cybersecurity platform built for organizations that don't have an IT team. It replaces five or six separate programs from five or six vendors (email security here, endpoint protection there, a training portal, a compliance checklist) with one platform, one dashboard and one agent on each device, watching your email, your devices, your network, your cloud apps, and your data.
Routine security events are resolved automatically (the phishing attempt quarantined, the suspicious login blocked, the misconfigured setting corrected) without anyone at the clinic lifting a finger. What reaches you is the small remainder that needs a human decision: a handful of real items a month, reviewed by the owner or privacy officer, instead of a thousand alerts in an inbox nobody reads.
Most incidents start with a click. Security awareness training teaches your team to recognize the email that looks exactly right but isn't, and health data compliance monitoring watches how sensitive information moves through your clinic, including Canadian sensitive data types: health, financial, and personal.
No hardware. No on-site installation. No IT hire.

Why Mint Ops
We secured our own company before we offered this to anyone.
Mint Ops runs its own infrastructure on Coro. Remote access for the entire company runs through Coro's zero trust architecture: the SQL environment behind our software, our file servers, every remote employee. We evaluated it the way we'd want any clinic to evaluate us: on our own data first.
Mint Ops is an official reseller of the Coro platform.
The platform does the heavy lifting, but the decisions stay where they belong: the owner or privacy officer still reviews what Coro surfaces and acts on it. Coro handles the volume so the person accountable can see what matters.
When something needs attention, your first call is to us. Coro's engineers are behind us for anything deeper.
Pricing
Two packages. Published pricing. No minimum users.
Both packages are Coro's official bundles, sold under Coro's official names, priced per user in US dollars and pre-paid annually. There's no minimum user count: a two-person clinic pays for two users.
Coro AI Essentials
$9 USDper user / month, pre-paid annually
Billed in US dollars.
$108 USD per user for the year
3 devices per licence · $3 USD per added device/month
Coro's core protection: endpoint security with real-time detection and response on every device, email security that monitors, flags, and remediates advanced threats and social engineering, and cloud app security covering Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and the drives your clinic works in. Wi-Fi phishing protection, secure web gateway, inbound email gateway, and encrypted secure messages are included.
Coro AI Complete
$15 USDper user / month, pre-paid annually
Billed in US dollars.
$180 USD per user for the year
3 devices per licence · $3 USD per added device/month
Every Coro module, unlimited. Everything in Essentials, plus security awareness training that tests your team with real-world phishing simulations, and user and endpoint data governance monitoring how sensitive health, financial, and personal data moves through your clinic, with Canada-specific detection, alongside mobile device management and network security with zero trust remote access.
Billing, in plain language: pricing is per user in US dollars, pre-paid annually, no minimum. Each licence covers three devices; extra devices are $3 USD each per month.
Licences are bought for a full year and paid up front. There is no monthly option, and no refunds (full, partial, or pro-rated) once a term has started. If you add users part-way through the year, those licences are pro-rated to your existing renewal date, so everything stays on one term.
Most clinics running Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace are protected quickly. Other email setups take more coordination, and we handle that with you during onboarding.

FAQ
Common questions.
Do I need to remove my current antivirus?
Usually, yes. Coro includes endpoint protection, and running two products side by side causes conflicts. During onboarding we review what's installed on your machines and tell you exactly what stays and what goes. Nothing is removed before its replacement is active.
What happens when Coro flags something?
Most flagged events are resolved automatically: quarantined, blocked, or corrected without anyone at the clinic needing to act. The small number that need a decision appear in your dashboard, where the person you've designated (usually the owner or privacy officer) reviews and acts on them. If you're unsure what something means, you call us.
Who sees our data?
Coro's monitoring is automated: software scans for threats and policy violations, without a person reading your email or patient files. Coro states it does not store customer emails; only items tied to a flagged security event are retained, and only temporarily. Findings are visible to the people you designate, and Mint Ops sees only what you share with us for support.
How long does setup take?
Most clinics running Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace are protected quickly. Other email setups take more coordination, and we handle that with you during onboarding. You won't be handed a technical checklist to work through on your own.
What if we add staff mid-year?
You add a licence when you add the person, and it is pro-rated to your existing renewal date, so you pay for the remainder of the term and everything stays on one date instead of drifting into separate renewals. Removing someone works differently, and we would rather you knew before you signed: licences are bought for the full year and paid up front, so there is no refund or credit part-way through. You carry that licence to renewal and drop the count then. Each licence covers three devices; beyond that it is $3 USD per device per month.
Does this satisfy my cyber insurance requirements?
It addresses controls insurers commonly ask about: endpoint protection, email security, staff training, and data monitoring. It doesn't guarantee coverage or premiums; only your insurer can tell you that. Backups, another common requirement, are covered separately in the ecosystem through Cloud Backup, our own Canadian encrypted backup service.
Does this include backups?
No, and that's deliberate. Backups in our ecosystem are handled by Cloud Backup, Mint Ops' own service: Canadian and encrypted. Ask us and we'll cover both in the same conversation.
Where do I find help documentation?
Coro maintains its own help documentation: current, searchable, and written for people without an IT background. We point you to the originals rather than maintaining copies that drift out of date. For anything the documentation doesn't cover, your first call is to us.
Let's talk
A business this dependent on its data needs someone watching it.
Your clinic is a business, and a business that holds health records, banking details, and personal information for thousands of patients shouldn't leave that job to nobody. Now it doesn't have to.
